Innaway - The Ghost Admirers is Audiolith Records third release. Originally released on a 12"ep in 2003 and now available digitally via your favorite downloadstore. The 12"ep is still available via the audiolith mailorder. In October of 2001, a group of five musicians gathered together for the first time within the cramped quarters of an organic coffee roasting office in the industrial heart of Costa Mesa.  The setting of this first practice had a profound influence on the music they were to create in the coming months.  Like the coffee roasting process itself, they formulated a style that is both organic and mechanical by starting with the basic, essential elements of music and introducing technology to help accentuate it's natural beauty.  The line-up of Barry Fader (guitar and vox), Gabe Palmer (drums and drum machine), Maori Konishi (keyboards and saxophone), Darrick Rasmussen (bass and guitar), and Jim Schwartz (vox and guitar) produced enough creative chemistry on that first evening to convince each individual musician to believe in what they, as a group, were capable of accomplishing.  It was here, amid the intermittent roar of the roasting machine and the married aromas of coffee and marijuana, that Innaway came into being.  Born out of the kindling of numerous and varying influences, ranging from Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd to Tortoise and Air, Innaway is a grouping of talented and creative individual musicians who together sound less like a mesh of solo artists and more like a cohesive unit working towards a common goal.

The Dance Inc. - This Fighting Album - FREE DOWNLOAD! Last year saw The Dance Inc. throw in the towel and hang their niftily embroidered jacket on a rusty nail after nine years of sonic song writing in pursuit of never-existing disco-mobiles. What set out as a duo grew to become a band, then returned to a duo formation, and all the while soared to highest musical plateaus, perfecting their concept of giving soul to electronic pop music. Not least thanks to keyboarder Stefan Goetsch, whose scholarly knowledge of Olivier Messiaen surpasses even that of the majority of those who are rightfully considered capable of spelling the name correctly. Nevertheless, The Dance Inc. incessantly and increasingly found themselves confronted with the ignorance of all too party-oriented seekers of big beats for whom – even after the “Legs and Arms” album produced by Tobias Levin in 2007 – singer Jan Elbeshausen’s dandyesque swivelling hip and forlornly soulful, clear and often unusually high voice were evidently too advanced, by far. This notwithstanding, The Dance Inc. now present their home-produced farewell album “This Fighting”, a cocky finale to a lurching career. Straight-up, smooth electro pop, shimmering in all facets of pleasant artificiality, sans doute calling to mind some of the great names of the 80s, though lacking the dusty stiffness thereof – often a result of the limitations set by the means of production of the time. “This Fighting” is certainly the most homogenous album by The Dance Inc., and the song “You Should Be On My Mind” is – to put it mildly – the duo’s greatest hit ever, making it all the more difficult to suppress anger in view of the unlikeliness of ever seeing them live again, which is a pity, especially when bearing in mind that memory fades all the faster in this day and age.
