"Say bye to my Era / Say bye to my Error": the track deals with watching things falling down before our eyes. Written and produced by DiscoCtrl in the fall of 2016, it reflects the rapper’s apocalyptic moods after a year of watching racism, Islamophobia and beating war drums reach a pitch both in the U.S., where he was raised, as well as in Germany, where he now lives.
"Era" is about watching capitalism run itself against the wall and the fear of being caught in the middle: "First world kingdom will crumble like Castro’s / please keep the dust off the face of my watch"
